HER EXCELLENCY MS. NABEELA ABDULLA AL-MULLA
She is also Resident Representative of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the Comprehensive Test Bank Treaty Organization (CTBTO), and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
In 2002 –2003 she was the Chairman of the Board of Governor of the IAEA and in 2001-2002 Governor of the State of Kuwait to the Board.
In 2002 and 2003 she represented the State of Kuwait at OPEC Extraordinary Ministerial Meetings.
From 1996-1999 she was Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Kuwait to the Republic of South Africa, and to the Republic of Namibia, Mauritius and Botswana on non-residency basis.
In 1994 through 1995 she was Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Kuwait to the Republic of Zimbabwe, and to the Republic of South Africa, Namibia, Mauritius and Botswana on non-residency basis.
In 1977 through 1994 she was a member of the Permanent Mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York where she held several posts the last being Deputy Permanent Representative.
In 1973 through 1993 she participated in Regular and Special Sessions of the General Assembly of the United Nations and represented the State of Kuwait in various committees, panels and conferences.
In 1992 to 1993 she represented the State of Kuwait in the Multilateral talks on Arms Control and Regional Security in the Middle East.
In 1991 and 1992 she participated in meetings on Kuwaiti POWs and detainees.
In 1968 she joined the Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
In 1968 she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Political Studies and in 1972 her Master of Arts in International Relations both with honors from the American University of Beirut.
She was born in Kuwait City
